Copy Right Laws

You have copyrights when your work is now known and able to be reproduced. Copyrights last for 120 years. It really means that nobody can reproduce your work and give it away with out permission. The public domain in the U.S is from the year 1922 or earlier. Public domain is music that the copyright is no longer in effect, and proof of public domain is proving that the copyright really is no longer in effect

ID Theft

What mistakes did this woman make to have her identity stolen? She used her Debit Card Frequently
Why do you feel ID Theft is such a common problem these days? I think that it is more common because everything now a days is kept on the internet or computers
What type of documents or personal belongings would someone have to obtain to steal a person’s identity? Things that could be used are Bills, Credit card numbers, and social security numbers
What are some ideas that you would suggest to someone to protect their identity from being stolen. Don’t give out personal info to people over the phone or internet unless that you know that it is someone that you know.
Who do you think is to blame, the person stealing the identity, or the person who is not protecting themselves from identity theft? I think that they are both responsible because the person with the information is not protecting themselves, and the person stealing the identity should not be doing it in the first place.

Jean Hoerni

Jean Hoerni was a swiss immigrant who moved to California in 1952. After living in California for a few years he was recruited to work at the Shockley Semiconductor Laboratory. Shockley’s strange behaviors caused Jean and his co-workers to create the Fairchild Semiconductor corporation where he developed the planar process.
Jean Hoerni is the founder, president, and chairman of the board of Intersil inc. His invention was the planar process which is the process used in the semiconductor industry to build individual parts of a transistor. The key concept was to view a circuit in its 2-dimensional plane. This allowed photographing processing concepts such as film negatives to block the projection of light exposed chemicals.
